Software Engineer


I have been playing professional rugby for the last 7 years and over the last four years I have put my time outside of rugby into computer programming. Through self-study, part time employment and more recently throughmy role as a full stack react developer, I have become proficient in Python, React, Excel VBAs and numerous technology systems. I am looking for work as a software engineer or data analyst.

Projects


I have built a number of basic arcade games when trying to grasp the funadamentals of Python. As well as the games I have designed and built this website and I am currently writing a web scraping programme to assemble suitable jobs for me from multiple websites.


Alongside my own projects I am employed on an ad hoc basis to analyse and present big data for a client using VBAs on Excel.

Over the last 6 years I have played rugby in Hong Kong, Madrid, Nottingham and Perth. Most of my career has been spent in HK where I have caps for the HK 15s and 7s teams. I still have ambitions to get more caps for the HK National 15s team, especially as we are trying to clinch the final place in the 2023 World Cup in France.
